Post Play. Mikan Drill - Variation. This is a variation of the Mikan Drill. In this case, instead of a baby hook-layup, the shooter is squared-up to the hoop, and does a jump-stop, "power" lay-up. Again, this is an excellent drill for developing a feel for how the ball comes off the backboard, and should translate into better shooting percentages for your post players.
