Fundamental Skills.   Jump Stop and Pivot.
When doing the jump-stop, both feet land simultaneously. The last step should be a hop with your weight leaning backward to slow your momentum. Either foot can become your pivot foot. To pivot, plant one foot, and turn on the ball of the foot (not the heel). You can turn a full 360 degrees and in either direction (forward or reverse pivot) so long as the pivot foot stays on that spot on the floor.

The jump-stop and pivoting are two of the most important fundamentals for all players, perimeter and post players.
